Predictions from the PK Man

"... President Nixon will not end his term in office. Something most unusual will occur, and he will either resign or be forced out of office."

This forecast by Ted Owens was made in our 1971 compilation of predictions.

Ask Ted Owens where he receives his prophetic ability and he mentions the "SIs."

SI are the initials for "Space Intelligence," according to Owens. He reports he first came into contact with the SIs when he was living in Ft. Worth, Texas. Owens and his daughter were out for an evening drive when a cigar-shaped UFO appeared over their car. The craft was silent, but colored lights flickered from the inside of the ship.

Owens explained there was no dramatic face-to-face confrontation with spacesuited UFOnauts. "From that day my life just changed radically," he related. "The SIs do the planning and execution. I am their go-between, a middleman to assist them."

Owens points out that he has mental contact with the SIs, who allegedly use his brain as a receiving station for their telepathic messages from outer space. "Their purpose in doing certain things is to make the people listen," Owens said. "As an example, I've controlled a government radar station, making images appear on the screen, in an experiment with PK psychokinetic power."

Ted made a trip to Europe last year and reports:

As you know, I am called 'The UFO Prophet' because I allegedly (as far as my critics are concerned) work with, and for, UFOs. They modified my brain long years ago. In 1965, the UFOs told me to go to Washington, D.C., and ask the CIA and NASA to back me financially to go to Europe to old haunted castles to have my brain modified once again. "CIA and NASA, although fascinated, spent hours with me but politely refused. This year I took a plane to Inverness, Scotland, and on my first two nights witnessed many UFOs. the water and stared at me for five minutes. The third night at an old haunted castle in Scotland a UFO came right over me. I reported it to witnesses. The next day it was reported that many other people saw it. Newspaper reporters converged upon me. Stories were done on my work in Scotland. "Meanwhile, while all this was happening, the UFOs (SIs) were changing my brain. One morning when I prepared to shave, my eyebrows had changed to gray hair! Before this, they had been a deep red color! So, the powers that the UFOs were using were doing something to me. I then went to England to visit Stonehenge. I was told by the UFOs telepathically that Stonehenge was a psychotronic machine with other-dimensional powers planted in it. It could be activated by me since I had a half-alien brain. They instructed me in the "triggers" necessary to activate it and I did so. (Somehow I got the impression that my activating Stonehenge was more important than anything else.) Night after night I went, alone, to dark, haunted hills and castles, after midnight. Many UFOs came out where they could be seen and heard! I even got their sound onto tape! On the famed Cradle Hill, outside Warminster, England, a UFO came down right to my location while I had my tape recorder working. Its sound on my tape machine is like a cross between a bird and an animal."

Will 1976 be the year of the UFO? Definitely so. UFOs will appear in ways they have never appeared. The United States will discover that UFOs can save it, or it will allow itself to become destroyed.

I predicted all that is now happening in the economy in 1971. I predict much worse for the future. Businesses will crash and fade out on a huge scale. Unemployment will keep going up. 1929 and its hard times will seem like "the good old days" compared to what is coming up.

More bank presidents and officials will begin to take the money and run. More banks will fail in 1976. The stock market will grow worse if that is possible.

The US dollar will shrink in value. Its value will grow less overseas. American credit will shrink and fade overseas. Foreign countries will deride American visitors and their "funny money" from America.

New auto sales will drop like a rock in 1976. The auto business will be in terrible trouble, almost wiped out. In a way this will be good because minds here and there will turn to devising better, cheaper autos with new power sources.

US railroads will go broke in a big way and practically cease to exist. The government will not be able to pour in the billions necessary to keep them alive.

Small businesses all over the US will be wiped out on a grand scale in 1976.

Giant corporations will resort to crooked shenanigans to stay in the game. Even so, many will go under.

I predict a catastrophic economic year for the United States in 1976.

The weather will be worse than it has ever been. More tornados, storms, floods, dangerous hurricanes, disastrous droughts. As the economy goes haywire, weather will follow the same trend.

I don't see "politics as usual" in 1976. There is a revolutionary trend brewing. The Republicans and Democrats will be confronted suddenly by new parties. One of the new parties may win with its candidate. Republicans and Democrats will change over and vote for an honest man.

I don't see Ford becoming President.

I do not see Wallace becoming President. I see him ill; he'll be lucky just to be alive.

I do not see Reagan becoming President.

I do not see Rockefeller becoming President ... by vote of the people. It might be handed to him by Ford—but not by popular vote of the people.

I do not see Jackson becoming President.

Before closing the door on politics I predict that we do not need a President. We need a panel of righteous men to govern our country. The entire political system of our United States will be thrown in the scrapheap. The system we have is geared to another time and is totally irrevelant to our present needs.

I see a revolution taking place in the United States. I smell it coming, psychically. People will rise up and throw out obstacles to the progress of our great country. It will be bloody, loud, and destructive.

Watergate: It will be amazing how many of these Nixon people commit suicide, die of accidental drowning, or fall out of windows. The Rich Gang will do a clean-up job to make sure that they never talk. And that includes Nixon and Kissinger.

Fashions: These will run to sexiness and nudity. Look for sheer, filmy, see-through clothing. This trend will begin in 1976. Some fashion houses will try to push long, bulky dresses but women will go out and buy the sheer dresses for sexual impact.

An entire new educational structure will be designed and put into operation. The new system will do away with tests. It will be revolutionary in scope, giving students more freedom to think and be creative.

Bands will make a comeback in 1976. Really good small jazz combos will make a comeback.

Food and shortages should be lumped together. There will be vast food shortages in 1976. Money will be scarcer and so will food.

Economic Depression ... mentioned earlier: The US is in for a barnburner, rip-roaring, tear-down-the-house Depression. New York is going broke, and the entire country is going to follow.

The government smells revolution brewing and in 1976 will do all in its power to scare people into line with government thinking.

There will be radical Earth changes all over the world, including the United States. There will be a tremendous quake on the West Coast in 1976 or possibly just before. It will be the granddaddy of all quakes. Packs of tornados will rake the land in 1976.

Drought and flood will sweep the United States as nature attacks.

International affairs is a dilly! In 1976 in England, France, Germany, etc., if a child says the word "American" his mother will wash his mouth out with soap! The countries surrounding us will show their hate and disgust with everything American. The US government is going to take one whale of a beating in 1976. Other countries will throw out our military bases, curtail our tourist activity, and so on. Our American dollar will lose its power overseas. American tourist travel will slow down to a trickle.

The Psychic Scene: This country has some of the finest psychics in the world, yet does nothing with them. Organized, psychics could be a priceless help to our government, not only in national and international emergencies, but in long-

range forecasting. Years ago I wrote to President Nixon (ex-cuse the expression) and offered to organize all the great psy-chics in the land. I'd get Geller, Dixon, Doc Anderson, Gypsy Markoff (Countess Amaya), Hurkos, and others in the psychic field together as one superpsychic team. We'd help guide the United States through times ahead. The gov-ernment would put up salaries for these top psychics so they would not want. They could devote their energies and time to helping the United States. This superpsychic team would be invaluable to the United States! Now, each psychic is helping an individual here or there with psychic powers. But the total picture would be much better if the psychics banded together to become a powerful psychic force.
Earth humans had better stay out of space. The UFOs have drawn a line and said: "Do not cross this line into outer space." The UFOs take a dim view of our bringing human misery, war, crime, and corruption of every kind onto the Moon and other places. They have warned that they will at-tack our spacemen if it is tried.
Investments: Very simple! Sell your stocks and bonds as soon as possible. Get as far away from the stock market and investments as you can. Do not invest; get what you can in your hand and hold onto it, for all you are worth!
The UFOs are going to kick the slats out of Texas and Nevada. I personally would not want to be living in these two states. Other "bad news" places: Florida, California, Illinois.
Farming will get worse. Big corporations are shoving out the little farmers. Nature is on a rampage, causing drought, floods, blight, livestock diseases, wild storms. I see less good food available to the people . . . a bleak farming picture.
Interest rates will zoom out of sight.
Disasters: Tremendous floods and tornado attacks in the Midwest. Huge quake on the West Coast. Roaring fires, un-precedented, on the West Coast, out of control. Outbreak of devastating disease in Texas and Florida and perhaps Cali-fornia. A giant hurricane or two smashing in from the Gulf Coast.
Crime going higher until even schoolteachers, policemen, and the like are apprehended for committing crimes.
Consumer Affairs: The giant corporations will be unable to block off knowledge of their corruption of products. The pub-lic will really get an education in 1976.
Mental Health: A tremendous surge of mental breakdown

is coming in 1976. Human brains are being deprived of life-giving oxygen on a grand scale. This will lead to massive breakdowns of the human mind.
Fuel and Energy Crisis: Another crisis in 1976. As the Ar-abs get madder at the United States and Kissinger, they will sublimate their emotions through cutting off essential fuel.
Unemployment Prospects: Nil, and getting worse. Over a year ago I predicted 10 per cent unemployment in 1975. My critics fell off their chairs laughing at me. It's 9 per cent now and escalating. I predict 15 to 20 per cent unemployment by 1976 or worse, even.
